Pete Segal is reportedly the new director of the forthcoming Ben Stiller comedy Meet The Little Fockers.
The first two instalments in the franchise, Meet The Parents and Meet The Fockers, were helmed by Jay Roach.
However, Variety reports that that Get Smart director Segal will take over for the next upcoming movie.
Stiller's comedy franchise is one of Universal's most successful, raking in some $820 million (£562 million) at the worldwide box office.
Robert De Niro and Stiller are both reprising their roles for the project, which is currently being penned by Along Came Polly writer John Hamburg.
The new movie is to focus on the children of Gaylord "Greg" Focker and his wife Pam Byrnes – played by Stiller and Teri Polo - and the couple's continuing attempts to please disapproving father-in-law Jack.
It is thought that Owen Wilson, who had cameos in the first two films, will take a bigger role in the forthcoming sequel.
