Cranberries comeback with US tour

Irish rockers The Cranberries are making a comeback - the group has announced it is set to embark on its first tour in seven years.

The Linger hitmakers will reform to take to the road on a string of US dates later this year.

The original line-up, Dolores O'Riordan, Noel Hogan, Mike Hogan and Fergal Lawler, will all be present on the tour.

And the band promises they will perform all their greatest hits, as well as a sprinkling of tracks from frontwoman O'Riordan's latest solo album, No Baggage.

In a statement, the group says, "Over the last few years, each member of the band has had time to work on different projects and learn so much from their experience."Now the time is right for The Cranberries to bring all of this together and move forward."
