Dobby 'returning for Potter'

Harry Potter actor Toby Jones has hinted that he will reprise his role of Dobby the house elf in the next installment of the franchise.

The actor first appeared as the character in Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets, but it has been unclear if he would feature in subsequent storylines.

Producer David Heyman has already claimed that several plot points would be removed for the film adpatation of Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince.

However, Jones told thelondonpaper that movie-goers may well be seeing more of the character.

"I believe so. It's all highly secret but I'm led to believe that Dobby will be back," he said.

He also revealed that he landed the part after an appearance in a West End production put pressure on his voice.

"You speak at such an unnaturally high pitch that people go: 'He's a shoo-in for an elf isn't he?'" he said.
